Christian parents have the responsibility of teaching the Word of God to their Children. The Scriptures mandate that parents are to bring up their children "in the nurture and admonition of the Lord". (Ephesians 6:4)
God has commissioned His Church to "teach all nations" which includes the children and to teach them "to observe all things" commanded by the Lord (Matthew 28:19 and 20)
Redeemer Lutheran School was established in 1955 by Redeemer Lutheran Church for the purpose of assisting the Christian home in meeting these responsibilities.
We believe that:
• Every child is a unique gift of God, endowed with an immortal soul and dependent on God's grace for salvation.
• The family is the primary instrument in Christian education.
• The most effective program of Christian education involves the cooperation of the family, the church and the school.
Christian education must provide the spiritual, social, physical and intellectual growth of each child within a quality learning environment.
